The 5 Mental Keys to Unlocking Your Potential.
Tennis is a very forgiving game and can teach you a lot about yourself. Opportunities to improve, take risks, and challenge yourself will present themselves again and again. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you choose to step out of what is familiar in the service of learning, improving, and personal triumph. Once you make the choice to practice the skills and strategies presented in this book and commit to using them, you will experience a freedom and level of performance you have witnessed only a few occasions.
The real drama of sport is not the battle to see who has the deepest reservoir of talent and skill but rather who can summon what- ever reservoir they have when it really matters—in the crucible of unrelenting pressure. Jeff’s approach to fearless tennis represents a real contribution to the field of applied sport psychology and is a must read for every serious competitive tennis player.

I've played tennis for most of my life, and I was surprised by how much this little book helped. I'm playing better and enjoying it more.

This book is the best psychological "coach" for serious tennis players I have yet to find. There are an untold number of sport psychology books which claim to help a player find the elusive "zone". The chapters in these books tend to droan on without a tangible connection to the player. For me, Best Tennis broke the mold because the author relates to us as players, not students. He has walked in our shoes and relates practical and applicable insight through his journey as a player, coach and psychologist. Nuggets of wisdom in this book.
